The "power ups"

Power-ups will give you a boost. They are dropped randomly from zombies you kill. They start at once you run over them, some of them are instant help while the rest last for 30 seconds.

Insta-Kill
Gives all the players powers to kill zombies instantly with any weapons or knife. You might want to get the insta-kill as soon as possible and while you have it try to only us your knife if there ain’t to many zombies.

Double Points
Double points is quite simple. Once you fetch it you will get double points for about everything you do in around 30 seconds. In the first rounds this is quite useful, but when you reach higher rounds it ain’t that important

Max Ammo
Max ammo is one of the most useful power ups in the game because it fills your ammo to the max. It also refills grenades. Max Ammo always occur after the last hell hound, these dogs often appear in every fifth round so I find it quite useful to save ammo so I’ll have four all the five rounds.

Nuke
The nuke basically burns all the zombies who has already spawned at the map. Zombies who haven’t spawned yet will not be affected and as you might understand it wouldn’t end the round unless if the remaining zombies on the map are the last ones in the round. It also gives all the players 400 points which is quite useful especially in the earlier rounds.

Carpenter

Carpenter gives repair all the barriers on the map and sometimes give all the players 200 points. This is usefull if you need to get your breath back.

Fire Sale
Fire sale spawn a Mystery Box in almost all the rooms at the map. At the same time it lowers the price from 950 to 10 points. Only use this if you need any of the weapons mentioned in the different strategies. Raygun for example.

Map Kino der toten

Posting this map for new guys to the game or mode so they can understand where the different perks, weapons and traps are:
(If you think it's to small you could always press Ctrl++ in your browser)

The perks!

There are four perks on Kino der toten. You can get them by buying soda from soda machines around the level, and they will all give you a little boost.

Perk 1

The first perk is Juggernog which I find most important. The reason I like this one is because it gives you double life, which make you survive 4 beats from the zombies instead of two. Which is quite a lifesaver, running through the zombies. This perk can be bought from the machine next to the boweknife (back in the theater)
Cost: 2500

Perk 2

Perk number two is speed cola which gives you shorter repair time at barriers and nearly halves your reload time. The vending machine with the perk could be found in the same room as the mp40 and the stakeout could be purchased. Very handy for shotguns and other slow reloading weapons.
Cost: 3000

Perk 3

Perk number 3 is quick revive which make you rise up after you been downed in about ten seconds. The time you are down you will have mustang and sally.  The location of the vending machine is in the starter room (behind the bar). This is the only vending machines that don’t require you to turn on the power first, This is quite handy especially in solo player.

Cost: 500

Perk 4

The last perk; double tap beer gives you quicker fire rate. If you have slow weapons like for example ray gun and LMG's this is a must, but if you have SMG and other quick rate weapons this will empty your magazine in no time. The location of the beer vending machine is in the wall outside the theater.
Cost: 2000

One of the best solo strategy's I have ever seen!

Found this strategy browsing YouTube the other day and it is quite amazing, tried it today and reached round 47. I was wondering to write it down and maybe I’ll do later, but for now you'll have to see the video tho it's not mine.

just a tip

save your starter gun and put it in the pack a punch machine. (the maschine back in the projector room) It will return as a dualwield grenadelauncher whit lots of ammo definatly worth 5000.

"The basics" intented for new guys to the game

Me and my friend start with two windows each at the start and shoot the zombies in the chest five times then knife em. Then we repair ALL windows in the first room until we are finished with level three. After that we run into the first door, the one up the stairs to the right, then we just run further and into a door that leads down some stairs and into a larger room with two stairways, etc., you probably know where I mean.
Here both buys the shotgun stakeout and split all the kill until round 8 is over. We share the kill rate so we have about the same money all the time. After round 8 we run through the next two doors to so we come to the cinema and turn on the power immediately. When where in the cinema we both buy juggernog.

Furthermore, we run around the whole map in large circles, from where we started and the way we did in the beginning of cinema through the door to where we started again. If you run this round, you get lots of zombies behind you, you can either turnaround and throw some grenades or swap on some traps to kill them all. Furthermore, we go in the mystery box till we both get a powerful machinegun (famas, Galil, commando, RPK, etc..) And these we upgrade as soon as possible. Now we’ve reached about round 12-13 and we spend money on Speed Cola, Revive and eventually Double  tap beer. Then we are upgrading to a new weapon that we receive at random box.

The most important thing is to throw grenades so you make couple of crawlers because they are so slow. In the end of each round we leave a crawler so we have time to prepare ourselves for the rounds to come. We try to calculate some ammo use. There will be dogs around each fifth level and they always give you max ammo. So, if there are dogs we always have an ammo spree because we'll get max ammo anyways.

I would recommend saving some money and always have over 4000. If die then you have enough money to get back, and buy a weapon in the mystery box and juggernog.

HI Welcome to my blog!

HI!

In this blog I will write a little bit about my zombie tactics in black ops. I will post some of the best videos I find at YouTube, write a little bit about some tactics I find at the web, but I will primarily write my own experiences with the game.
